Firemaster Fire Resistant Filing Cabinets

FIREMASTER fire resistant filing cabinets have been manufactured to meet the requirements of the JIS-S-1037 Fire and Drop test, assuring you of the protection of your company records for the prescribed period should disaster strike unexpectedly.

Locking
The unit is secured by a push action keylock and a keyglass combination lock.  Individually locking drawers are standard.  Each drawer is also provided with its own "flip lever" at its side and when set in the release position the particular drawer will freely open even though the other drawers are locked. 

Construction
The Firemaster Fire Resisting Filing Cabinet is constructed fron new formula special protection materials which provide excellent fire resistance.  A tongue and groove construction prevents protective water vapour from escaping and resists conduction of heat to the inside.  Each individual drawer compartment is separated to provide complete and individual insulation against fire.

Fittings
A partition plate and a suspension frame for filing pockets are standard with each drawer.

Magnetic Media Containers
Magnetic Media containers are available as an optional extra.  Those containers will provide protection for your magnetic disks and tapes.  You simply place the container inside the bottom drawer of your fire resistant filing cabinet.
